Ok enough is enough, your starting to make feel really miss Colorado with all those pictures of the Arkansas, etc. Hoping to go out of tomorrow to one of the lakes around here for bass.

Great stuff Browndrake. I sold my boat a couple years ago and while I don't miss the expense of owning a boat, I do miss the family time we spent on it. Keep the pics coming!

Looks like beaver ponds, used to be some great beaver ponds to the north of Divide, Co, swarmed with brookies.

Today was a blast...    We didn't catch lots but all three of us landed fish.  Here are a few pics to show what it was like.

I spent the day roaming around the San Isabel National Forest taking photos and trying in vain to get trout to rise to my dries.  The creek just opened and the fish were pretty lethargic and were not looking up at all.  I would have switched to nymphs but forgot my nymph box at my tying desk.   I managed to hook one little brown but he threw the hook prior to getting him to the net. The moose was not happy to see me at all, roughly 40 yards separated us and she was stomping her feet pretty aggressively so I backed away and snuck a photo as she made her retreat. Regardless of the lack of takes it was an amazingly beautiful day to be out and about.
