BGE domestic turkey

Help. Has anyone done a domestic turkey in the big green egg. Want to try it but need receive details like temp and time direct or indirect etc. Thanks in advance for your help.

May be a bit late for response. We used the brined turkey recipe from BGE website this year for Xmas dinner. Worked out well. Brined overnight in bag with ware, brown sugar, salt, orange peel, onions and spices. Cooked indirect with plate setter at 325 degrees in rack with disposable pan and used soaked hickory chips. ~12 minutes per pound. I believe it took a little over 2 hrs total for 11 lb bird. 


This is third turkey cook in seven years on BGE. Always good but keep an eye on color as they can brown quickly sometimes.
