Greg, looks like you were able to get out and about a bit. How's the shoulder coming along?

Thanks for asking, Jack.  The shoulder is slowly healing, but I think the doc is too conservative.  He said no shooting for three months - it's been a month now and I shot SC with a 28 gauge yesterday at the gun club with no problems (except for lack of hitting targets).  I'm trying to be very careful in the field because a fall would have me in surgery for sure, but I FINALLY got out with the dogs a couple times last week - just to the hunting club - the "wild" seasons are closed now - not real hunting, but scratching around at the club SURE beats sitting in the house and slowly getting fat and out of shape.  Hopefully, we will get out a good bit this week.

Give Clancy an orange ear rub for me (sure could use some new Clancy pics, too).

Thank you!

There were quite a few grouse sitting in trees and I managed to capture a lot of pictures of them. These were 2 out of my favorites. These were taken with a Nikon D500 and a Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. They were also post-processed with Lightroom and Photomatrix.

Horned Lark. D-7100 & Nikon 18-300 VR f/3.5-6.3.  I cropped it hard and it looks a bit noisy below the throat collar.
