We're pulling for Ollie!  We need to work on Murph's FC this fall.

Me too, thanks!

Looks like I should be making it to my first national in Kansas this year.  Looking forward to meeting everyone! Do not want to miss another nationals so we will be there ready or not :).

Best of luck Jackie.

My father is not doing so well, I sympathize with your plight with your mom.

That Nevada trial looks interesting.  Is it in the desert?

The Nationals should have great cover and be a fun location for the cockers.

I believe Springer Nationals  were there two years ago. As I recall thigh to waist high cover, beautiful spaniel country!

The National Amateur was there in 2016.   However, there are plenty of different fields that could be utilized.  Also, like anywhere else, the summer conditions dictate the Fall hunting cover.   Maybe there will be folks to watch the cockers that might not drive to other locations to see the little spaniels work.   I would be tempted but the woodcock will be moving through my area and my spaniels need the work!

Thanks Grifish. Was nice to see your wife there, although I drove down Sunday morning and left after the trial so wasn't there for long. I trust she has a safe trip back home.

They didn't let him out much😉 In fact Oliver got out more. I hope he behaves better next time so we can visit longer!

Poor Ollie ran about as well as I did! He was finishing a second course of doxycycline, this past weekend, and I think he was nose blind.  He passed a bird in the first and we were on our 14 hour trip back home by 0900 on Sunday. Probably why you didn't see me.

Hopefully we will be able to clear his system and he'll be competitive yet this fall.

I meant you behave better!  Ollie wasn't himself last weekend, but then you weren't either.

Hope you both get better soon Grifish.

No worries Mr. Dauber!  Just a little bummed about my boy.

Sam's out of town for the weekend, so it's me the dogs and a launcher! He's looking better! Me...not so much!
