It seems I saw this here but has any body put a Dogtra 2500 and Garmin DC40 on one collar and how does it work on the dogs neck.

I did it.  The e collar is a Dogtra but I'm not sure which model.  It required a 3/4" collar.  I got one from Gun Dog Supply that had holes already punched in it for the DC40.

It worked fine.  Seems like I had to get longer prongs on the e collar to make good contact.

I'd post a pic but I loaned the setup to a friend of mine.

I used a pair of 2002 Dogtra with a  Astro 320 & DC 40 , I did this over 4 years ago... Have found no need to upgrade any further.   E collar,  remote beeper & GPS all on one collar..Pics later

I have tried the 2502 dogtra also, the horn is mounted low on the collar, sound is harder to locate the beep...  I really  like this set up  for 2 reasons, I can "locate" direction easier and the horn is above their ears.....

Thanks everyone. I think that I may try this this year. My Gordon got skunked and the collars stink so I was going to replace them.

Don't you still have to use 2 transmitters?

Yes I do...I prefer this set up to any I have seen in the field..... One collar for Fido, I have plenty of room on my vest....

I have run this for years. All of my buddies have changed their setup to this. Works great.
