      WELCOME NEW UJ MEMBERS   06/25/2017

It seems the word is out and UJ is enjoying a steady stream of newly Registered Members. Welcome to all of you, and we are all looking forward to your positive participation. I strongly suggest you review the Board Guidelines that have been in place since 2002. The most significant thing being that UJ is a NO POLITICS BOARD. LInk:  UJ BOARD GUIDELINES   Also UJ stays afloat mainly through Member Donations. Once a Donation is made you are placed in the Contributing Member Group with extra Priviliges. I am getting very few new Donations so hopefully this will spur that on a bit. Link:  New Members/Donations/Priviliges

There are a lot of shorebirds kind of like that but I think it might be a godwit.

After checking it out and the Avocet,  it was some kind of Godwit, It was all by itself but the big pond had plenty of geese and ducks on it up until I shot.  Then this was the only thing left.

Old homesteads and grouse, a wonderful combination. Hunted a full day. Saw no wc at all. See you in the spring my little russet friends. IMG_4087.thumb.JPG.c1eee77b11a908eeab0f15df59ed9b34.JPG

1/2 hour hunt with Cash.  The "old man" did good.  You've never seen a dog happier to retrieve a bird.

Chilly at 35 degrees, windy which made it more chilly and on top of it all day drizzle. Still, we flushed 11 or 12 in 4hours and came home with three. Come posing time Merlot was out of gas, wet and had the shivers. So we didn't fool around with composure.

He is in there someplace

Cash was beat after finally locating this runner.  So much so that he just layed down while I took a photo.
