      WELCOME NEW UJ MEMBERS   06/25/2017

It seems the word is out and UJ is enjoying a steady stream of newly Registered Members. Welcome to all of you, and we are all looking forward to your positive participation. I strongly suggest you review the Board Guidelines that have been in place since 2002. The most significant thing being that UJ is a NO POLITICS BOARD. LInk:  UJ BOARD GUIDELINES   Also UJ stays afloat mainly through Member Donations. Once a Donation is made you are placed in the Contributing Member Group with extra Priviliges. I am getting very few new Donations so hopefully this will spur that on a bit. Link:  New Members/Donations/Priviliges

Bummer deal man.  Poor dude.  I've been there, they bounce back - hardest part is keeping them chill while they heal up! Taking it easy is not really up a bird dogs alley!

Creek's entire career has been catalogued (spectacularly) on these pages; I hope this is just another chapter in a long book that is not half written yet.

Heal up boy!

Ouch! Did you have to carry him out?? How long is he on the shelf for?

He three wheeled it straight down. Luckily the angle wasn’t too steep. Out for twelve weeks. He’ll be prime for spring training and working to get back into shape for next season. I let him out today into the yard and he lifts his good leg to relieve himself while balancing on the injured. I about passed out.

Thanks for for the well wishes guys...

It’s crazy , those locking plates in creek are better than ones I sold 20

Years  ago for humans . Amazing how technology works.

she did a nice job of contouring that locking plate. Creek should do great

I approximately thirty years ago fractured my femur in similar fashion as Creek’s tibia but closer to the knee. They used a bent plate that went through the knee joint & eleven screws to repair. The morphine drip back then barely cut the edge on the pain. I’ve since had them removed. Anyhow, I can sure relate to what Creeks going through

Best wishes to a tough boy.  I love his s***-eating smile in that last pic.  What a dope.  How can you not love him?

Your guy looks just a bit older than my GSP.  I often wonder how much she has left in her with the hill work that we do.

  Heal up fast.
