Shooting in the cold beats no shooting at all.

Yes it did but I would have liked another 20 degrees.

Dad wanted to go shooting last weekend even though the weather was cold and windy. So we went to a place I only go to a couple times a year to practice. They are known to throw some tougher targets. But this day there was lots of droppers and some short windows not good for an older guy but we still had fun. It’s at an old dump and last year they threw some targets over a 100 yards away on top of the hill which were fun but not today. They have a couple elevated stations. The last pic is an elevated target that is 25 yards behind you going out over your left shoulder.

The last pic is a long low income with a curl and a rabbit that stayed pretty flat.

Seems like nowadays a lot more targets are thrown to be shot as droppers or transitioning birds than years ago. A tournament I shot yesterday had lots of targets that were droppers and that seems like what more target setters are going to than risers still under power.

Took dad to a new course yesterday, he really like it. A&B were the easier targets.

There were some challenging targets and elevated stands. The terrain is rolling hills, and a very beautiful course.
