Yup, I run an Alpha with a DT beeper. I also run a bell.

I do.

But I hate the Dogtra beeper so have added a sportdog accessory beeper.

Astro DC 40 collar with a dogtra 2500 and sportdog beeper. I love the dogtra collar training and locate features but dislike the beeper reliability is why I run this setup.

Yes, I run a A320 and a Dogtra 2500 T&B. The Dogtra is set to beep on point only and she wears a quality bell too. Dog doesn't seem to mind but if starting all over again i would run an Alpha.

Yep, Garmin Alpha with Sport Dog Beeper and a bell. I had the Alpha first and added the beeper later. If I was starting from scratch today, I'd likely go with the Astro and then either the Dogtra 2500 T&B or a Garmin e-collar with their upland beeper plus the bell.

All the time, best of both worlds.D6789C07-49BB-4A21-8E55-FE88F4B229BF.thumb.jpeg.0fb1cf9b82b858cf3101fa0314f50a51.jpegF0C0F816-6609-4F33-9080-24DD59D7D8C6.thumb.jpeg.a54d524c0e6ccc68a8a90feed3870548.jpeg

I run the gps and the beeper on point only.   Some of my coverts are so dang thick, I can be really close to the dog and have no clue where she is.

I use the 2502 T&B daily for runs with my setters, and places we hunt that are familiar. Use the beeper to control them and keep them close. When in places where we're not familiar with, I put the Astro 430 & T5 & T5 mini on them to make sure they (I) don't get lost and point indicator on the 430 works fine for me. This combination suits my needs just fine.

Astro + Lovetts LTH (point only) + bell for grouse.

Astro only for pheasants.

Astro and Lovetts add on beeper that is on my Tritronics G3.  Most of the time I don't use the Astro as Sophie runs close, but every once in a while in a new area that I don't know I add the Astro.
