TO THOSE REGISTERING FOR MEMBERSHIP ON UJ   01/06/2018

To the Guests who have decided to register for Membership. PLEASE read Terms of Service, not just checking it off. This is covered there: Add more info than just "hunting" or "Upland hunting" or "birds" or "outdoors" or similar nebulous terms in the required INTERESTS field. Despite this Boards strong spam filtering function, some Spam registrations do sneak through. I need an inkling that you are a human being not a Spam Bot tagging onto key words. Also please do not use a business name as your User Name. Thank you.

If you don't have children.

Who would you select to inherit your firearms & how would you decide? What criteria would you use?

Giving UJ-ers a chance to pontificate here.

My boys will get my guns, but not because they are my sons. They will get them because they share hunts and make memories with me and those guns. So, for me my guns would go to who ever sharred in my hunts and understood how much I enjoyed my guns. Cousin, son of a friend, you get the point. If my boys didn't care about hunting and shooting they would not get them just to sell.

I took some time to think it through, and set forth in my Will who gets which of my guns and, in some instances, why.  For example, a friend gets one of my shotguns "which he has long admired".  Another gets a different shotgun "because I want him to have a better shotgun".

Of course, it helps to be a lawyer and therefore able to do my own Will just the way I want.

I thought the Evil Clown was getting all your guns.  At least that's what he told me.  Even said he might let me have a couple.
