I'm really sorry to see this--Rex brought a lot of joy and laughs to the UJ community.  I can only imagine how much his family and close friends will miss him.

Oh man, Rex is a UJ staple. I knew he was not well. This really hits home. His posts were so unique that the term "Rexism" was created. He was 78 years old. A true charter and supporting Member since the Board was launched in 2002. His Membership and participation will always be live on UJ as long as it is on the web.

Rex was the best. A dry wit and he didn't suffer fools gladly... the end of an era.

Very sorry to hear this.  Rex was a true UJ icon.  I enjoyed every one of his posts - had me laughing and scratching my head at the same time.  He will be missed.
