Up North

At our cabin the Fall smallmouth bite is very good! We catch alot over 18” with 22.5” being the biggest.

 Shelby you don’t live that far away. You need to visit Dale Hollow or Lake Cumberland both on the Ky Tennessee line, as they both are great smallmouth fisheries. Heck call me when you come and I’ll try and meet you for a days fishing. I love largemouth but smallmouths are imho the greatest fish on earth.while I’ve had a few in the 5 lb range , I’d rather catch a big smallie say 7+ lbs, than take a 180 class buck.
