Here in the middle of Utah, we went from 70° yesterday to 30° today, with snow.  We should return to spring next week.

So yesterday was quite nice in between the rain drops temp wise. A call came in for a small repair and I told the folks I would try it today. Big mistake but once there I wasn't turning back. House set on a big flat in the bottom of a valley with not a tree in site. Wind was whipp'n at 39 degree's. Not my favorite work environment.

Now to the good part ~

Having never been to the job location and following directions I was given - turn off this road and proceed under railroad tracks through tunnel. At first with all my ladders and other equipment on my racks I was not sure if I could fit . Plus I could not see through the tunnel. There was a sign that said " blow horn before entering" . Uh boy I thought !

I proceeded and when I came out the other side a beautiful stream which I was familiar with however not where I actually was on the stream.  TROUT INFESTED WATERS !! Heart rate elevated for sure.  If max was with me he would have loved it to see me get all excited .  We would have had to stop and ck . After all he and I amassed most or at least a lot of our best coverts this very way.

Pecan tree leaves are coming out now. They seem to be the first to drop and the last to put them back on. Seems when the leaves show up the temperature goes up.

I rode 50 miles on my snow machine today on a frozen lake.  We've had some melts but still lots of snow in the bush with 4 to 6 inches in the forecast for Thursday.  Winter is hanging on in Northwestern Ontario (45 min north of the Minnesota border).

About 50 here today and then 80’s for the next few days. What a crazy spring.
