I use 450 gr. on the 10 wt.

I have two line that I carry with me, ready to go on different reels.  Two different sink rates, depending on conditions.  Right now there is a 5 ips sink tip on the rod, and a 6 ips line onthe spare reel.  There is always a andn intermediate sinking line in the boat in case a topwater bite looks possible.

I run 350 gr. on the 8 wt., one Intermediate sink tip, one 6 ips.

I can't recall who made which lines right now, but I tend toward Scientific Anglers and Rio lines, I've had good luck with them

How are you fishing the streamers?  strip, swing or both?

What is the typical cast distance required where you fish?

I've never swung a musky fly, or seen it done...though I suppose it's a possibility.

Musky don't require a lot of finesse, and are seldom afraid of the boat...if you cold start out tossing the flies 30 ft. and work your way to 50 ft., you'd be fine.  I've seen them hit casts that were well shorter than 30, simply because conditions didn't allow for a longer cast.
