Beautiful fish and scenery!  What flies were you using?

Those are nice fish. Do you fish out of a float tube or some other watercraft if the wind allows, or is it mostly bank fishing?

I sometimes bring up my drift boat and fish in it wind is not too bad, which is rare.

mostly wading and float tube

i prefer rivers too, but the rivers are often crowded and there are plenty of lakes on the Rez to explore.

theres a remote one I’m going to hike into that supposedly has a lot of cuts over twenty inches at least according to my Indian guide buddy

chronies, blood worms, griffiths gnats on top, micro leeches, callibeatis

the fish sometimes can be be very selective

Don't forget to clean/drain/dry your boat/tube before launching.

And PLEASE, PLEASE!  wash the undercarriage of  your vehicle before entering MT. WA has a lot of bad stuff invasive-wise that we can't afford to take on. Thanks! :)

Looks like an amazing trip.  Pretty sure I know exactly where that third photo was taken but my lips are sealed. One of my favorite lakes in the country

I go to Browning twice year for work and love the fishing there.  Although I must admit I usually just fish the creeks.  The fish definitely aren't as big but I'm just not much of lake fisherman.  I'm surprised you said the rivers are crowded.  I think in 5 or 6 years of going there I've only ever seen two other people fly fishing the rivers.  but the res is huge so we could be fishing two totally different areas.  Here's a couple of my favorite pics.
