I've really been digging this new Phoenix album over the last couple weeks, especially 1 and 2.

Just found out these guys are playing a show at a local establishment 4 blocks from my brothers house in mid January. $7 entry fee can't beat it for the show they put on. Had to throw'em in for a little primer.

Some sweet soul cookin' with my girl Shonna Tucker, the base player for the Drive-by Truckers.

Can't wait for the new album.

Dang! Chicken grease on the bass strings... can't say I've heard of that before. Gives new meaning to "chokin the chicken"!

Iso Sika or "The Killing Of The Big Pig" by Bertha and Charlie off the Yooper album "Culture Shock"    A true classic! The first time I heard it I was eating an orange and almost choked to death I wound up laughing so hard.

Nice Pickin!!, Here's a link to some vids of masters of classical guitar.

There are vids of incredible talent Segovia even in advanced age is fabulous and Ana Vidovic's Asturias (Guitar Festival Vid)

is something else. Listen to this with the lights turned down low and a glass of something nice to sip on some evening.

Try It, You'll Like It!
