I'm a little all over the place with music these days. I think it's indicative of my mental state.

Through the magic of the public library and the need to burn up my remaining eMusic downloads here's what's been on rotation:

After 40 years of classic rock I've grown a little tired of it.

I mean, how many times can you listen to Layla or Amy etc.

While dinking around the dial I found this community radio station in Blue Hill. You never know what your going to hear next.

A nice change.

On Tuesday nite I will be listening to Little Feat in person at the Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg,Pa.I think the last time I went to a concert was to see Willy back around when his accountant ran off with all his money.

I grew up on Sabbath.  And they are why I like bands like Sleep, Kyuss and The Sword.

Heavy, dark, sludgy, stoney.  Good ****.

Got tennis on the tube, muted. Listening to Keith Jarrett's Koln Concerts on vinyl. I haven't played this in a few years. Freaking awesome.

Before that was Brian Eno's "Penguin Cafe" .

Forced to listen to some "classic Rock" station over the office PA system.  Now, I know classic rock and this aint it.  Classic rock by me definition does not include anything past 1985...and that's stretching it.  OMG, is it 4:30 yet?

"Topic: What are you listening to now?"

At the moment my 11 year old GSP snoring at my feet. Quiet can be a wonderful sound if you listen.
