As some of you already know I dabble in Hand Engraving. Most of these money clips are made from what is commonly known as German Silver. This material is simply brass with 18% nickel content which gives it a silver-like look. In fact, it's a lot more durable than Sterling silver. The few that are made from Sterling silver carry a material cost of approximately $50 just for the material. German silver is a lot less expensive and that keeps the cost down and makes the clips more affordable.

These clips are entirely hand made and engraved by me. Each clip takes approximately 10 to 15 hours to complete, depending upon the amount of detail and sculpting involved.

Just cut these on the back of TRU-NORD compasses. They are about 1 inch in diameter.

John, your stuff looks great.  The special tail plaque you and I collaborated on was really nice.
