Bonasa
Remember what Carl Sandburg said about lawyers in his poem...... "...tell me why a hearse horse snickers hauling a lawyer’s bones." Lol
Bonasa
window washer and pretend dog trialer/pro staffer. I've been doing the upland thing for about a day and a half, but I pay anybody who can stand my obnoxious, abrasive, manically insecure personality to ride in my B.A.T. and hurl insults at everybody who knows more than I do, in a lame attempt to prove I have a clue. "Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name..." That's some first class hating. what do you expect? he's a lawyer... he's so low on the social ladder he can skinny under a snakes belly That's insulting !! I can get lower than that when necessary... :'>

Don Steese
I cash checks. Direct deposit is convenient, but I'm guessing there was something really special about going to the mailbox and picking up that social security check!

ARKBRDHUNTER
Resort manager for 32 years, just worked out that way as I went to work at one when I was 15 and it got me through high school and helped get me through college. I was assistant manager when I graduated with a BBA and minor in computer science. Great area to raise a kid and family was here so just got comfortable and was decent enough at it to survive. There are only 2 resorts in this area and I have worked at both, 13+ years at the first and 18+ at the current one. Company put a lot of pressure on me to take over one of our properties in Branson last month but resisted and waiting to see how this will impact my future. The company does have some resorts in Idaho, Utah, Oregon, and Washington state but my wife says I only want to go there because there are birds to hunt which is the truth of course. bmeador
I've got the MOST secure job in the world. Supt. of a wastewater plant. Most boring job I've ever had - but great benefits. I can work 8 to 14 hours daily - my choice. I can work 5, 4 or 3 1/2 days weekly - my choice. I can work Sat. and/or Sun. - my choice. I get almost 8 weeks paid vacation annually and I can cancel days off if the weather changes and screws up the hunting and fishing. My boss is an outdoorsman so he understands. He also will let me take extended days off - up to 28 days in a row! I make decent money, great insurance and work out in the country. Haven't had a pay raise in 4 years, but I'm not going anywhere!
