LostintheUplands
I have not yet had my mind on tying. It will come soon. Its to be savored as the next bit of fun sufficiently after bird season, so as not to crowd. X2 for me. PA grouse closes on Jan 26th. Our deadline is March?
jbeck
Just to refresh everyone's memory on the timeline: - Commitment deadline - Saturday, January 19th (this is when people need to commit to tying and declare what they are tying). - Completion deadline - Flies should be completed and in the mail to me by March 1st. I'll PM the participants my mailing address. Flies will be mailed to the tiers as soon as possible after they have all be received.
Rich Farino
How do you folks feel about letting a guy new to UJ who enjoys sporting clays and still hasn't harvested any game but who knows his way around a vise join the swap?

Grifish
Welcome Rich! I bet you are the first person to have his first post in the FF area. As for my fly, if I must declare, it will be the Herter's bastard midge.

I'll be tying Mercer's Z-Wing Caddis, tied with turkey feathers I've collected off the ground. =)

Rich Farino
The best way to retire a millionaire from the fly fishing industry is to start with 2 million. =) We have a web presence. It becomes a service industry instead of just a retail shop.

JK SE PA
So what are looking at for participants? I think it's around 15 or 16 people plus a fly or two for Brad and maybe an extra tossed in for the organizer of the whole mess, so around 20 flies about right?
