Obviously someone in your local government thinks quite highly of your safety. They love rules.

Obey.

I've already started compromising the bar.

So what makes this night any different than any other night?

7:25pm . Just put the dogs out to pee . They rushed right back in . I have never seen it snow so hard . Thick wet snow , great for snowballs . Already have 8-10 inches . They just updated the snow map . I am in the jackpot area , predicting 20''-30'' now . Time for another Bloody Mary .  :<img src=:'>

Still quiet here, no snow, no wind. I hope the wind holds off until tomorrow. I hate it when the wind howls all night. It never seems as bad in the daytime.

I guess since this is "in house time" perhaps some smoked salmon with a caper/cream cheese blend or sauce would go well with the libations from good southern whiskey to fine Vodka.....

Follow that up with venison tenderloin medallions in an onion sauce with cranberry compote something or other and buttered garlic potatoes accompanied by a fine chewy Merlot and then a B%B after and you should be set.....   well, some apple strudel with Hagen Das would end it.....

Lost power for an hour (7:00 - 8:00).  Ate dinner by candlelight.  The dogs just wanted to go up to bed....

10 pm and I just took the dogs out back. Was shocked that we only have about 3". I've been watching the news all night, since the storm coverage is on every channel, and I thought I would need my snow shoes. Guess ill go to bed and see what it looks like In the morning . I hope you guys south of the city are ok.
