john mcg
Another pass with the snow thrower to find out my step dad put a rope carpet down on the walkway. A half hour later with a sawsall and back in business. What a pain--you have no idea!

Last good adventure I had with one involved a window sash weight, complete with the 8 feet of rope still attached.

Jazz4Brazo
Hate to admit it but this past one I ran over a rubber/wire mat in front of the hot tub...blew rubber slugs laced with wire over the back yard...up to my waist picking up all the pieces so the dogs wouldn't find them after the next thaw...wire cutters on the shaft to get the coiled crap off..good to go in 5...also shredded one of those 4 ft orange plastic driveway markers...and I hadn't even had a beer yet

I imagine there may be a piece or two still under the snow. Another--they don't do any harm, but there is something nasty about blowing half frozen or frozen poops. Blowback is a b...... Brad Eden
Ahhh, Maine.... Snow, mixed with rain, to sleet to snow all day. Gained about 3-4 more wet heavy inches and the flakes outside the window right now are the size of field mice. Took the Cashmo for a hike through the woods and struggled through drifts to my waist. He came back covered in snowballs and is biting and licking them off as I type. Supposed to warm to rain so some roofs not raked off will be toast. JoAnn drove a couple hours west to her Lewiston office early AM and only made it to Augusta this aft on way home. Rte 3 is treacherous and part of I95 is closed off due to a jacknifed 18 wheeler. She's holed up in a motel, alone tonight, at least that's what she is telling me...

Only problem is Cash goes on 'mom should be home soon alert' at around 5:30 and can't settle down til she pulls into driveway.
