Yep,

Little brown doggie "land mines" will be lurking in & under the snow.

Still have about 18" in the yard. -16 degrees this morning. Last year I was getting ready to seed wheat this day. Sigh. On a good note 9 sharptails flew by the mailbox this morning. Where there is life there is hope. Sigh.  :p

Got a fresh 3"-4" this afternoon, a little more coming on Monday according to the weather man.  Thursday the dogs had three woodcock finds.  I wonder what those little buggers think of today's weather?  Down to 19 degrees tonight.

-26 degrees this morning and 4 to 7 inches more snow on its way tomorrow.  Last year we had 60 degrees and no snow today.

Just a little left here on the mountain and more coming tomorrow.  I like it - gimme cold weather and snow over heat, humidity, sweat and bugs any day.  Too soon it will be gone.

Wow Remo, sometimes it's hard to believe we live in the same state. Until today it has been brown and dusty here for quite awhile and the temps have been pretty mild. We are getting some snow now but it's still pretty nice out there. Send some of that **** our way. we need it. Just not too much at once. :<img src=:'>

Plowed 6" at 7am, had coffee and ran the dogs, then came home to 3" more in the driveway.  It's supposed to snow and blow for the rest of the day.

They're talking up to 12" - 24" (select lake effect impact areas) more here over the next day and half.  We'll have to wait and see if it pans out.

Snow? What is that?

75 degrees and sunny in the Texas Hill Country.

The male blackchin hummingbirds are already here, we have 3 feeders out now; I am expecting our first rubythroat male any day.

I'll see yours and raise ya one. Almost 90* here today.

About 20" on the level here and snowing again right now. Last year this time I found my first grouse nest with eggs on March 28th.
