I like my late wife's motto and it pretty much sums up how she actually lived life as well.

Approach life like you do a yellow light – RUN IT!

I have two;

"There's an ass for every saddle"

and

"It's tough to sit in your own s*it".

when I see 5 weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of 100 people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy.

Like that Dylan quote, from 'High Water,' if memory serves.

You could find quite a bit of off-center logic in Dylan.

Not Dylan, but these two come back to me quite often:

Get it while you can

'When I wake up in the mornin

I know it's gonna be good

When I stick out my elbows

And they don't bump wood'

-Bill Kirchen

Unless you're the lead dog, the view never changes.

If you bend over in front of the wrong person, you're gonna take it in the a$$

Follow the path with heart.

No matter how much you wiggle or how much you dance the last few drops end up in your pants.

And adding to this.

If your hose is to short or your pump to weak,

better stand closer or you'll pi** on your feet.
