'I like to push the limit to how much air we can put in the football, even go over what they allow you to do and see if the officials take air out of it.'
So it ok to say you mess around on national TV with the football and nothing comes from it but the Pats are run up the flag pole because there might be a under inflated ball.

Indy got beat badly and now the sour grapes come out end of story.  The Ravens got beat and they had the same sour grapes claiming we use a illegal play which the NFL said was totally legal.

Seattle pulled a trick play on Green Bay then beat them because of it do you hear any bitchin that they pulled a illegal play.

So the fact is it is only bad when the Pats do it but not bad when done by any other team.

As for getting caught cheating we didnt get caught doing anything.  There is a question raised by the team we beat badly about a possible issue with the ball nothing more or less. This has gotten blown so far out of the water that it is ridiculous and the NFL is handling it very poorly to say the least.

The patriots did cheat, they were fined and lost draft picks.

They cheated. People tend to not like cheaters......it's pretty simple. A lot of people will never forgive Barry bonds or roger Clemons.

We don't know if the patriots cheated this time yet, but will will find out eventually.

.....and again...if someone else's cheats then it's ok for us.....LOL if Aaron  Rogers cheats then he cheats too....so?

I feel badly for the GB TE who muffed the onside kick.  What a ball buster.

Why? He had his time to shine and instead pulled a 'Bartman'. Fans will remember his name for decades, and not fondly.  Ha-Ha-Ha Dix - someone please check his ticket to make sure hes in the right seat as he clearly was a fan on the 2 pt try. That ball is still floating up in the Air somewhere.

Sonny you need to read some Dickens or something.

Billy Buckner was trying to catch a grounder: No athlete deserves that scorn for an honest mistake.

Sorry, he screwed the pooch.  His job was not to field the ball, his job was to block for the guy behind him whose job it was to field the ball.  He got off script and paid for it.

They put a tight end with hands out to block so someone else can catch it?

 I don't think so.

Ooooohhhhhhh boooooyyyyy. 11 of 12 Pats game balls were determined to be underinflated...this isn't going away and regardless of how this happened it is a huge distraction with the Superbowl looming. Hopefully an official determination and consequences if any will be made sooner rather than later. I'm gonna wait for final report before foaming at the mouth. Ill leave that to the giddy haters....

Wipe the spittle off your chin Chuck.  :<img src=:'> If they intentionally did this they are "out" in my book too and I think shouldn't be allowed to play in the Superbowl. Not all Pats fans give them a pass.

Actually it is true. Bostick is supposed to block and Nelson is supposed to receive the ball......which sure looked like it could have happen........

Refs test game balls 2 hrs before the game. It would be interesting to know what they were inflated at then; whether they were at lowest pressure and whether play and weather dropped them below legal inflation?

All speculation til reports issued...

This - Plus it might be nice to know if they were inflated inside a nice warm room where they were then tested for accuracy brought out into cold wet Gillette and then fell out of range.  But like you stated Brad - Speculation. At least that explains why the ref's thought the game balls were fine - They were all the same.

51 degrees at game time.

The whole issue is.....if the Patriots intentionally deflated balls to gain an advantage. Sooner or later the truth will come out......probably sooner. All that was said so far is that they were deflated......the reason has not been stated yet.

You would be wrong. Bosticks job was to block for Nelson. Period. He was one of the main causes we lost.

That and not intercepting that ball in the end zone. Two defenders covering one guy, ball hangs in the air for five minutes, and no one even makes an attempt at the ball.

Maybe my brother in law was right: Football is fixed.
