HuntersDad
They're not the prettiest flies but they'll catch fish. This storm has settled in yesterday so I fired up the fireplace and have pretty much done nothing this weekend but tie flies and shovel snow. I'm on my 4th bag of hooks! browndrake
I had the opportunity to help my daughter with school stuff all weekend. Was working more math that tying but got a doz out for a customer. (I have learned that one's tying speed goes way down when not doing it full time..) 5 more doz for him, then on to cripples for everybody here and also replenishing my own flyboxes... It has been too long since I have tied..and fished like I need to. But I am repenting and trying to bring forth such fruits... Planning on casting to some pike either this week or next and hitting northern NM sometime in the next 4 weeks. Glad that I joined UJ when I did or I would have missed this swap opportunity. (since we are mostly tying 'local' flies, it would be fun to go fish them where they were tied to be fished.)
