MN Tonester
This whole Deflate-Gate thing is just plain stupid. The press is always looking for something like this jump on, and make more of that it is. It just ain't that big of a deal. Exactly! What a waste of air time and paper. Other than an overinflated ball to aid a kicker, let 'em play with it completely deflated if they want. This is such a hyped up non-issue
quailguy
Agree with whoever noted that the refs touched each game ball at least 2 to 4 times before and after each play. If none of them noticed anything wrong with any football, how big a difference could it have made??? There is just nothing else going on in sports now, so the sports press needs something to sell papers/views/clicks.
River19
Is the NBA still around? I could have sworn they used to play basketball at the professional level....I wonder when that stopped.... Ballgazi is the only thing evidently, Yemen....#2 story......Ballgazi = #1 story..
Rex Hoppie
Do they inflate footballs with nitrogen?
MN Tonester
I wonder if the ratings for the SB will be affected by this - not
mshowman
Fortunately for me the NFL is irrelevant. My fantasy perfect Super Bowl would be the Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers, my two favorite teams. The Browns were (are) never in it and the Pack blew their opportunity. When I looked at the remaining teams I could only hope that Indy could somehow pull out a victory or two. That was simply asking too much. So, for the remainder of this season, I'm with you! (but that won't keep me from prodding these guys who really do care). :'>
Coalman
Just heard the NFL has officially said they are opening an investigation. Reminds me of Ferguson. The media was all over, shot in the back, hands up. Turns out through a thorough investigation none of that was true. So go ahead NFL investigate. I'll believe what the DA says
Don Steese
I'm tempted to point out that it's only a game, and the future of the planet is not hanging in the balance... Underblown or overblown?? That is the question!! The NFL says it'll take weeks to do their investigation. If this was something really complicated, it'd take them a lifetime. . River19
Vikings doctors the ball on camera with actual proof and it is a non-issue.....Pats accused of something without any real proof so far and it dominates the headlines ahead of actual world events? Sad...... http://espn.go.com/blog....vikings
