what in the ever lovin' hell? Only one other guy thinks the Blackhawks will beat Nashville? Did I miss a memo ??? The only memo I got is - KANER is back!!

Its time to drop the puck boys!

I think that the Hawks could take the whole thing provided everyone stays fairly healthy

This has the potential for upset.  However Carey Price is stone cold.  Habs in 6.  I just died a little writing that.

Well if Price is "stone cold".  Hammond is Arctic Ice.

Last four games.

Price:   .902 save pct.   2.25 GAA

Hammond:   .952 save pct.  1.5 GAA

Of course Price is seasoned and Hammond isn't. Seems there was a goalie named Dryden like that too.

Agreed an upset is possible.

Aww jeeze Al, With 4 games to go, Carey had his records, his percentages, his MVP, his Vezina, his Jennings all but locked up. 902 save percentage? Pfffttt! :<img src=:'>

Halak owned Ovechkin. Was Chicago ready? Habs WIN.

I'm sure Halak remembers Ovie's quote from the 2010 playoffs referring to Halak's hands shaking because he was so afraid of the Big Bad Caps.

I am sorry, but Halak did NOT own Ovie. Let's don't make Halak the second coming of one of the greats. Face it, the Caps got out played, out hustled, and just whipped. All of the talk about good change and being built for the play-offs went to their head. They played without the puck the whole game and let the Islanders dictate pace. They are not built to match NY's speed and it showed. They also need to be much better with puck possession.

On another note, it would be a shame if Subban gets suspended. I did not see the slash. Is it suspension worthy?

That was my reference. In sports, as in life, karma is a bitch. I have always been a fan of Halak since his miracle run with the Habs back a few years ago. John Tavares is probably the most underrated superstar in the game. He is a real game changer.

If Ottawa can't beat Montreal without Pacioretti and Subban... The Hamburgler is minced meat.

Don't you love Calgary?

Kane does have huge impact on any game. Any team with Toews and him on its roster can never be counted out.

The slash was hideous.  An intent to injure IMHO.  I know that I'll get flamed for this but I think Subban is a cheap shot artist, obvious talent notwithstanding.

To the viewer, the slash was hard to look at and very cringeworthy, but the commentators (all ex-players) on CBC all thought that it "was not worthy of a 5 and game". Now the Sen's Coach is calling for retaliation if the league does nothing about it. He WILL be MADE to recant and apologize.( Funny how Stone was throwing punches at game's end).

Playoffs! Ain't it fun?

BTW....Halak has played WITH Ovie since the "comment". Remember, he was a Cap.

Do you guys really think it is still an issue with those guys.

I honestly think players get over those type of things way faster than fans do.

And ...of course the Sens coach is calling for all kinds of retribution and/or suspensions for Subban. He wouldn't be much of a coach if he didn't. Doesn't mean it was a bad slash.
