Zoli 16ga.
FMB - My wife will be attending and she will not be shooting. A lot of chatting and getting to know people. Non shooters have joined us many times on the courses and pushed the buttons listening to all the excuses for missing shots. The shooting is very relaxed ( execpt for me this year at the 28ga. Comp). It's a very and cordial atmosphere. No gun required. The variety of food is a reason alone to go. The fruit is also a big reason I enjoy the time, NOTHING like that back home. The world seems a better place after attending this event. Really.
Zoli 16ga.
Plus you get to hear Canadians say - eh, aboot, buddy, dude and sorry a lot!
bullseyebill
FMB, Bring your gun anyway and a case of shells, lots of us aren't great shots , but we still have fun. Cindy and I will be staying in the lodge also. Kurt pretty much nailed the description. How much you eat ,drink or shoot is totally up to you. Looking forward to the gathering. Tubes are M/F, not very good for skeet, etc. Not to mention that I am a terrible shot. Wayne I'm a horrible shot. But I have a good time! This is a 100% no pressure event. Some of the better shooters will help you if you want too. I'll bring an extra shotgun along if you get the itch! Are you a large, medium or small
Fire Marshal Bill
Grifish, I'm a lefty, short and stout. Nice way to say I'm overweight! Lol. I'll bring my gun. I've been wanting to talk to someone more knowledgeable about having the chokes changed but not sure what to go to; skeet, IC? I never even thought about changing the choke on my shotgun until I started reading the gun forum. I brought the gun when I was 30 yrs old and I'm 72, so I've had the gun a long time, shot a lot of birds (most by accident) over the years. I can use all the help/advice I can get. Grifish
It is a shame that Brushbuster will not be there this year. He is a lefty and a very knowledgeable shooter. I'm sure not the one to go to for shooting advise! Ruffneck is also a lefty and pretty keen with his auto. He might be able to help someone in there "right" mind!
