I didn't even "bust em" last night .

Wouldn’t have even been on my mind. Too worried about the hurricane and my mother. Congrats to the Sox. The best team won. I can route for the Sox now.

Last Thursday night I was able to take my 80 year old father (turned 80 on Fathers Day) and soon to be 80 (in October) mother to Fenway Park for the last game of the Angels/Sox series. They're both li

Al, I agree on the pitching. Starting with Barns, I would have left him in until men got on base. He got them out 1 2 3. Give him another inning. It was a nail biter for sure. The Bommers have proven that they don't quit. Great series.

Bring on the Astros. This will be a great series, though Mookie better start swinging the bat. He looked lost at the plate last night.

Sale is the only guarantee with the pitching, though Porcello certainly was on last night. Going to be some late nights next week, warm up the coffee pot! The big question is how do I watch the Sox and the Pats at the same time Sunday night?!

Poor performance last night all around, from the manager on down. I understand protecting your players, but you can't get tossed in the first game of the ALCS during a close game. Sale was mediocre, bats didn't show up (Betts is 4-20 in the playoffs), and errors in the field were just too costly.

This will be over soon if they can't figure it out. Price can light a fire with this team and redeem himself with the fans with a good performance tonight. Fingers crossed.

Yep, tonites game will define the 2018 Sox and Price's future. Those Astros are one tough team but we shall see what the Sox are made of.

There are several things fueling this fantastic year. Players playing up to their potential is one.......but I have to say the manager has to be doing something right, it's the only way so many player contribute like they have been doing.

Mostly cause the team is full of former Tigers.  Dombrowski wants to prove he can get it done with "his" guys.

Phew. Nice. I think Cora is struggling. Being tossed out of game one was out of character and they didn't need that for motivation so early in that game, and his demeanor in the dugout looks nervous. Is it me or do the announcers on TBS fall over themselves praising and sucking up to the Astros?

Thank goodness it's not just me noticing the preferential treatment the announcers are giving them! They can't stop talking about how good the Astros are. Driving me crazy!

Thinking that'll change after last night, but it's far from over.

Yeah, you would think Bregman was a baseball god listening to these TBS talking heads. Hard to take when you have the likes of Betts, JD, X man and I could go on. Really glad to see Bradley pound that grand slam. I just wish he would be more consistent at the plate. JD is getting his hits and RBI's, but needs to get hot with the homers. Sale is back, and there is a chance he may pitch game 5. Love the 5:00 start time...I actually was able to stay awake for the entire game!

From the bleacher seats:  Red Sox proved last night they are a formidable team.  I don't have a dog in this fight but did pick HOU to win the series for the sole reason they hold four aces to start games.  Believed the era they would have for the 1st 7 innings of each game would be below 2.  Thought the bullpen would do enough to hold the Sox down for the last two innings and games would be around 4 - 2 in the Astro's favor.

WRONG!!!!!!

RSox are just bad@$$.  Still a few to go but they are pounding the HOU starters.
