• ITEM 9, Custom Revolver Grips...UJ Member Rob R of Rowen Custom Grips in Virginia, has offered to create a custom grip for a variety of revolvers. This is exquisite workmanship. From his website:

...the custom handgun grips made here are not production products in any way. They are not made and fitted to "house" guns or templates. They are made for and fitted to your gun only, which means I do need to have your handgun in my shop. Machines are used where possible for cutting and rough sanding, but most of the work is done by hand using chisels, rasps, files and sanding blocks.

Rowen Custom Grips Website: Rowen Custom Grips

Robs email: rob@rowencustomgrips.com

Generally this custom grip item is for Bisley and Single Action Army revolvers. Those include but are not exclusive to Ruger Bisley, Ruger Blackhawk, Colt Bisley, Colt Single Action, Colt SAA, Freedom Arms 83 & 97, and S&W Magna style. You can email Rob if any questions on the type of revolver you have.

  • Winner would need to ship their handgun to Rob, who has an FFL.
  • Winner would pick their blank of wood from numerous options Ron would  photograph and email to them; French, Turkish and Black walnut, etc.
  • The grips will be fully custom and he can make them thicker, thinner or like factory etc.
