Nice rig.  My buddy is sponsored by Yarcraft and runs the 219 with a merc verado 350 on the back.  Really cuts the waves nice, has an excellent reentry and is fast (but a gas burning machine at WOT).

I have the best boat.  The best because I don't own it, I just get to use it!  My friend doesn't have the space for it so it sits in my yard with the caveat that I get to use it whenever.  21' Quest walk around with 200hp Johnson.  He just got it.  We've christened it with a few schoolie stripers but no keepers yet.  Hoping to change that this week end.

See if resizing worked, 2001 Crownline BR202 (can't find any pictures of the whole boat though), 2 kayaks, a canoe and a paddleboard.  We went a little nuts a few years ago 😀

"New" boat's a Sundance K-16 skiff with a 40 four stroke Yamaha. Fished it last week in the Everglades National Park and was totally satisfied.  My other boat and the one I use most is an Alumacraft  14x32 jon boat with an 8 Yamaha...SelbyLowndes

P.S.: Plus a 17' Feathercraft aluminum canoe I've had for 50 years now.

I clearly picked the wrong profession.

Oh I'm not so sure about that; you seem like a fairly happy curmudgeon.  And you're not cleaning bathrooms at rest stops on the turnpike on a wicked hot summer day.  Or shoving your finger or arm up an animals butt.   NTTAWWT of course.

Added this to the mix .Installed a standing bar, rod holder, anchor and a removable rudder. I like to drill holes in brand new things. The only water it has seen is the summer rain so far.

I have too many boats. Lol.  At our place up north I have a Bennington Tritoon with a Yamaha SVHO 250 on it.  Top speed is low 50’s.   Also have a Lund Oufitter 17” Tiller with a 60hp Yamaha for fishing.  Plus have several Yamaha Jetskis including 2 FX SVHO’s that are 300hp and top out at 75mph plus.

Down at our full time home I have an Alumacraft Competitor with a 70hp Yamaha and 6hp Yamaha kicker for fishing lakes near my house.  Also have a 12ftalumicraft Jon boat with 6hp for duck hunting.  I know,  I’m nuts.

2000 Hydrasports LTS 212 with 2000 Evinrude 150 fuel injected and an Evinrude 15 mounted on a hydraulic bracket used for trolling either with planer boards or with two Cannon Digitrol downriggers with their own depth transponder.  This boat has no wood and the entire structure, cockpit, hull and stringers are Kevlar reinforced, hence a 20 year hull warranty.  Electronics include Raytheon sonar with down, side and front scan, a Raytheon GPS and a Raytheon marine radio.  I also have a Garmin GPS and radar.  A front mounted Minnkota 24 volt Genesis trolling motor with self-deploy, autopilot and course correction completes the package.  There is a power pole mounted front casting seat that can be installed and removed easily on the front deck.  This is a wonderful boat for fly fishing, trolling and casting.  There are two large aerated live wells and two insulated fish/food boxes.  Fully loaded, wot is about 50 mph although I seldom run it that fast.  It is a stable, predictable safe and comfortable ride.  Fuel consumption is reasonable, tank capacity is about 100 gallons.  The gross weight with a tandem axle trailer is about 8000#, this is a stoutly built boat. I bought this boat new and it has been trouble free.

The photo below is a Hydrasports stock photo (identical to my own boat) which gives a great perspective of the interior layout, much better than I could photograph.  Note the power pole socket on the front deck.  This boat has never touched salt water.  My dad, whose sole hobby was salt water cruising and fishing, owned a series of boats starting with several Grady-White boats in the upper twenty to mid thirty foot range and culminated after his retirement in a Post sportfisherman and, finally, a Hatteras sport fish.  The larger boats were a PIA and well beyond anything I would care or could afford to own.  My theory is that anything that cannot be towed behind a one ton pickup is probably too large, at least for me.

This is probably too much information but I thought someone might be interested.
