Thank you Garmin

I had that sickening feeling as I reached for my wallet at the end of the hunt yesterday. Sure as shite, it was lost in the grouse woods. Wait a minute, I had it at the gas station in Hill City as I was panicking. I raced over there and asked them if I had left it there. Nope which at least narrowed it down to the last 160 acres I had just walked thru.

I drove to where I had parked and thought about how I was going to cancel my trip to Little Rock next week....no driver's license, no credit cards.  Then my gray matter fired and sure enough, I still had my track on my Alpha. 20 minutes of alternating views of the screen and the ground, I basically stepped on my wallet on the forest floor. Thank you Garmin.

You bet, Gary. I used to keep my keys and such on a non-locking 'biner hanging from my belt loop. Ask Tedder how that went one day in the 'Orchard Area' not to be named.

I dunna do that anymore.

LOL
