Yep, bought myself an Orvis upland vest, just plain indestructible, even Max says so. Merry Christmas to me.

Orvis has renewed their UJ Ad Sponsorship for another year. They have a banner ad and a display ad on Board. My Orvis contact is very pleased with the mention of Orvis Upland products on the UJ forums

I have probably 3 of their hunting shirts and one of their Vests.  I think very good quality.

Their Softshell pants are the most comfortable and overall best upland pants I've ever had. I've bought lots of Orvis products and I appreciate their dedication to providing excellent bird hunting gear.

I have bought lots of Orvis products over the years. Starting with tons of FF gear; rods, reels, nets, waders, boots, vests, FF gadgets, and materials. Also Harris tweed sport coats, sweaters, golf shirts, pants, and other clothing articles. Mrs NB has some sweaters and dresses. Even bot the pups monogrammed dog beds. Also bot the kiln dried fatwood kindling boxes as gifts.  I like the way Orvis gets behind important conservation projects. And good to see them here as a sponsor too.

Orvis needs to help Pyke, a sponsor of UJ.

Just bought a shirt from Pyke.

Excellent quality, superb service.

Built in the USA, Grand Haven Michigan,

I have been an Orvis customer for a few years, I would think that Orvis would do well to sell products made here.

Orvis is a UJ Ad Sponsor. I typically announce any Orvis Specials similar to Pyke. Glad you are happy with the Pyke gear and service.

I have a friend who worked in Orvis marketing 15 or so years ago. They tried several initiatives to try and showplace and market US goods, Generally the margin was low and they had a lot of trouble selling.  Most folks aren't willing to pony up the extra sadly. So its good to see  folks like Pyke and WW make a go of it.

Thanks for the kind words!  We try our best to give our customers a great experience.  It's a true honor to be mentioned in the same breath as Orvis.  We would love to be able to partner with them and many other fine retail establishments but, with our products being made in the USA, our margins are tight and unfortunately can't do that.  We are hoping to have a "Mobile" road show in the future and we will come to our customers!

This past November I bought the Orvis hybrid wool fleece jacket and really like it, probably the most comfortable jacket I have worn. I was shooting skeet Sunday it was 10 degrees and I was think how great it would be is they made a shooting version of that jacket. I would think it would be easy to add shell pockets and a pad to the design.
