No horns but I finally got something other than empty shots of my property on the cam I put out a few weeks ago.

The anticipation of checking the camera is fun though.

I'm with you Marc.  It's with great anticipation when I pull the pics.  One thing that I have never gotten a picture of and I'm surprised is a mountain lion.  Just as well though.  I would hate to think I'm sharing the hunting ground with one.

With this being my maiden trail cam venture, I really hadn't given that anticipation much thought. I'd be quite tickled if I got a pic of one of the black bears that are purported to be around.

I'm not sure whether to wish you well or not on getting a pic of a mountain lion, Al.🤔

This guy was hanging around for a couple of years.  Haven’t seen him in about a year.

This winter we couldn’t figure out why we were losing so much bird seed out of our squirrel proof feeders on the back porch after dark. I decide to put a camera on a post facing the feeders. Turns out flying squirrels aren’t heavy enough to engage the springs and close them!A447B9AA-E0F3-47A9-A3A8-CFD8E2752308.thumb.jpeg.58532847e78bf8d159d652227b9a5e81.jpeg9680BD83-EACC-4D9D-9299-FE56AF5D2C67.thumb.jpeg.cd065345a29d886b1c76ee22db756a4b.jpeg

Doesn’t qualify as a trail cam picture but these white pelicans flew over while I was pulling pics off the camera.  Took a little journalistic liberty.

They sure like the apples.  We have trees in our yard and a couple of years ago there was this doe that pretty much made our yard her home for about a month.  She was feasting on the apples.  Of course she drove the dog nuts.  But he got the benefit of being able to role around in her crap every morning.😡

Did she put the seat down when done?  I know I am sick of being told when I forget that little detail.
