*See Second Post down for Bidding Specifics/Rules.

*See Third post down for list of Current/Highest Bids.

Bidding opens today 7/25/19 and closing date is 8/25/19. * Ending date is subject to change.

I will be handling all Bids and will update highest bid on this Topic (High Bid Reply Below) a couple/few times a week (if not daily) but NOT who the high bidder is.

As always Proceeds go towards monthly/yearly UJ server/bandwidth, Cloud Hosting & Data costs and site/BB development, administrating and moderating, auction item arrangements, shipping of items, etc., and a % of total proceeds benefit a non-profit outdoor charity.

• ITEM 1, CUSTOM MADE UJ FIREPIT, Years back a UJer named Jeff Kimball from Canada designed and manufactured an Upland Journal Firepit. He made one for me, and a second one to Auction off. These were so laborious and time consuming to make and machine, that only two were and will ever be made. They are works of art with "Upland Journal", hunters, dogs, grouse and Woodcock and pheasant and bird cover scenes. This will be an opportunity for a UJ Member to own a slice of UJ history and own a unique and custom created Firepit that's better made than anything else on the market. :

CNC/plasma water cut out of the 3/16" steel, The main Barrel was rolled and massaged into shape with a 5 lb hammer and welded using Mig. Dimensions: 24.5" diameter, 18.5" depth, height with legs is about 2'. Weight: Just under 100 pounds

*PLEASE NOTE: This Custom UJ Firepit is solid steel and is very bulky and heavy. The anonymous donator prefers to arrange to deliver/meet up somewhere in New England. But there has already been interest from people outside of New England. Donator is willing to have the ring crated and will deliver to a major carrier in New England if the bidding dictates that. But that extra cost of crating and shipping would have to be absorbed by that winning bidder. This will have to remain fluid at this point.

VALUE: Priceless, but non-custom high grade steel fire pits go for as high as $1000 +

VALUE: $95

• ITEM 3, 1” Beta Reflective Center Ring Collar, INCLUDES  FREE Custom Brass Nameplate. Donated by UJ Ad Sponsor Front Range Gun Dog The 1 Inch Beta Reflective Collar with ring in center is the most innovative safety collar on the market and has the feel of soft leather with the added benefit of being waterproof. The 1 Inch Beta Reflective Collar is made with BioThane®  Beta PVC coated webbing and has a 3M® reflective strip that runs the entire length of the collar. The highly reflective strip reflects the available light to increase visibility and safety for your dog in low light conditions. BioThane®  Beta PVC coated webbing is a durable waterproof non-porous material that does not absorb odors or stains and cleans up easily with soap and water. In-line riveting design coupled with the rounded solid nickel plated steel hardware make this collar virtually indestructible. Your choice of seven colors. See here: Beta Reflective Collar

UJ Member Crazy Horse has donated one of Larrys custom-hand-made Lanyards to this Auction. According to Crazy Horse, he had done some special engraving for Larry as a favor. About a week later he received this beautiful lanyard with two brass counters in the mail. He doesn't use counters in his bird hunting, so decided that he couldn't think of a better way to pay tribute to his dear friend than to donate it to UJ, so this superb craftsmanship could be fully appreciated, and to help out the Forum that Larry enjoyed so much. Knotsmith braided lanyards are known for their fine and superior craftsmanship. Many UJers consider their Knotsmith braided products as heirlooms. They are no longer being made.

I am anxious to see how much the maple syrup goes for. It will ruin you for all other "pure" maple syrup.

I was blown away. Plus the tip of putting it on ice cream with walnuts is amazing.
