College Football: How's your team doing?

Recommended Posts

Auburn is the typical Gus Malzahn team.  Get some good wins and then doesn't show up in other games.  LSU and Georgia will end any chances Florida has of going to the playoffs.

My Clemson allegiance arises from my dad being a starting end  in the early 40’s.  I am a Clemson fan except when the Dawgs play them.  I lived the first year of my life on Clemson’s campus in veteran

Always been an IU fan.  Dad played for them in the early 30's.  Check out the pictures.  Jim Cavacini.  First picture, dad lower left.  Second picture as a sophomore.

Sparty got burned at the stake in Columbus; not surprised.  Buckeye's are formidable yet again, and getting stronger.  Know it's early yet but they could take it all come January.

Same here.  But you really have 2 favorite teams as an alum; MSU and whoever's playing Michigan.  Go Iowa Hawkeyes!!!

My Hawks forgot to show up. Bad ugly game.  Our QB doesn't show up in the big games.

You get my team this Saturday.  Penn State Dee looks pretty good this year, the O is spotty, 3rd downs have been particularly bad.  Iowa is always tough versus the Lions.  I wished your guys had won at MI, hate to play a team backed into a corner on their own turf.

Sparty came out with some grit, they are a good team. Solid defense.  Their D line was playing very well until halftime.

The local newspaper here in coastal Georgia  has a column titled Vox Populi wherein folks call and leave a message on the answering machine giving their opinion, etc.   This weekend's pick of the litter:  "When I die I want 6 pallbearers.  Two from the Braves, two from the Falcons, and 2 UGA footballers so that they can let me down again, but for the last time."
