I am the Field Services Manager for a company that builds vault doors, missile doors, blast doors, radiation shielding doors, air and water tight doors,  Attack resistant doors and accoustical doors. I get to visit all the wonderful places this country has to offer.  Refineries,  nuclear plants, chemical plants, Performing Arts schools,  TV and recording studios, and all kinds of government facilities.

The only place I have ever visited for my job that I actually liked was San Juan, Puerto Rico. Best coffee I ever had, I will put up with the long flight anytime, just to drink 15 cups of that delicious brew everyday that I am there. I sleep when I get home.

You would be surprised how many times I get asked which bathroom it was. Right next to the snoopy statue in the main food court. People actually take pictures.

I am the backroom quarterback for the forces of evil.

Actually, I am partner at a 700 attorney law firm where I am in the litigation department. My practice involves acting as outside general counsel to one of the two political parties in the state, the members of the legislature from that party and numerous candidates for federal office in New Jersey and elsewhere. I'll let you guess which political party.

Aside from my responsibilities to the party, I represent insurance companies in complex insurance coverage disputes involving multilayer insurance programs.

official title is Sr. Test Technician

I do R&D and test support for a defense and severe duty commercial truck manufacturer. (concrete placement, snow removal and Fire and Emergency)

I work almost exclusively on military stuff, travel alot and sometimes get to do and see some really cool stuff. Like someone said earlier, and I have on a T-shirt;

"Still Plays With Trucks"

Still waiting for the day when I can afford to live as the Wal Mart Greeter. That is my dream job, no responsibilities, just "welcome to Wal Mart, would you like a cart?" for 36 hrs a week in some rural Northern WI or UP location. Or maybe in the Dakotas.

Porn Star.

Actually, as some of you know I crunch numbers for one of the 2 major drug store chains.  So I tell people with huge paychecks what the numbers really say, then I go back and make them fit their preconceived notions  :D In reality that doesnt really happen all that much, we have a very very solid management team, which makes it a great place to work.

I am in the Marine Corps and have been for twenty one years. I am in the infantry and have spent all my time there except for a tour on recruiting (not my best assignment).

I am now the operations chief for a weapons company getting ready to deploy at the end of the month. I have been contemplating retirement for the last few months so we will see. There isn't much out there for an old grunt.

I am an Inside journeyman electrician out of local 347 in Des Moines Ia.  I work mostly in the industrial side with some commercial and telecom.

Good Day Brother!

Inside JW, I.B.E.W. Local 307, Cumberland, MD. 18 year Member.

Spent 3 yrs out of HS doing Independent Residential/Light Commercial Electrical.

5 yrs Apprenticeship in J.A.T.C.

11 yrs working my way up from Foreman to Super to eventual Project Manager/Designer doing Design/Builds of Electronic Security/Access Control/CCTV on Federal Facilities. To say life was VERY INTERESTING after 9/11 would be an understatement.

After a Top 10 Electrical Co. bought out my former employer and their Mng. "Team" started telling me how to do my job, I took my cue to leave and have been training dogs professionally and running my own Kennel since. Was a tough transition from comfortable living to starving dog trainer, but our family has made do and begun to see some fruits of our labor.

Have kept my ticket, but haven't signed the Out of Work book in almost 2 years and hope to never have too again!

Have worked in Paper Mills, Power Generating Stations(Coal Fired, Oil Fired, Nukes and Wind), Automotive Assembly Plants on line re-tools, Data Centers, Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Fed. Facilities and who knows what else.
