I always liked this vintage Studebaker, other than a 1950 Studebaker I never owned one I'm sorry to say.

I've always thought that it was one of the best designs to come out of the '50s.

Well said.

Wish I could say that is original but it's not. I read that somewhere years ago and it stuck with me and comes to mind whenever I see a picture like that.

I believe I've put this up before but it's from a great time in my life and a reminder for me that things won't always be as dark as they seem at the moment.

Thinking back on some good old, care-free days, thought I'd post some photos taken taken from the 70s when a bunch of us would charter a plane to fly down to an inter-tidal marsh for a weekend waterfowl hunt on the Alaska Peninsula.  Always good hunting and good comrade, with enough dogs to get the job done.

One would think, you would never be able shoot that many ducks in those "camo" patterns.  That is at least according to the shows on TV and their push to sell all the different clothing types.  Maybe, just maybe, I don't need the $400 Sitka parka to shoot ducks...…….

Fake photo - obviously!!  In addition to the lack of appropriate clothes (er... uhh... I mean techno tactical gear), I notice that none of those hopeless simpleton "hunters" seem to own a shotgun with the appropriate camo cladding.
