Recommended Posts

Ive been looking online for a battery for my old trip tonics transmitter to no avail. I hate the garmin astro for training. I gotta keep looking or buy another unit without GPS for training

How old and what model?  Providing that information might help others in aiding you with your search.👍

I had the same problem with my G3 EXP collars, they have a screw on battery pack, and batteries are not available as far as I can tell.  At that time (three months ago) I saw several sources online for the transmitter batteries.  I believe Outdoor  Dog Supply had them.

Tri Tronics   G2 or G3?

G3 Transmitters are easy to replace      http://www.magnumtelemetry.com/tritronics-g3-transmitter-handheld-batter3.html

G2 Transmitter battery's- you will need to send the unit in     http://www.magnumtelemetry.com/trg2hatrbapa.html

Lake City Feeds in MI will have battery's for both of these units.

Or Lake City Feeds in MI  will rebuild the battery packs also-  around $35

Myself and a friend still use a G3 Pro 100 daily and keep them working.
