Greg Hartman
Nice pics, folks! Thanks for posting. I haven't been able to get out at all in 2021 yet, but here's a couple from late last year - waiting for spring: Hopefully, will feel well enough to get and do some dog runs/photography soon. Greg Hartman
Our first post-COVID walks were just down to the mailbox on the dead-end township road at the end of our lane - about a 1/2 mile. Amazingly, we actually had to stop a couple of times to catch our breath - this from people who normally walk miles each day. After getting to the point that we could get the mail without stopping to try to get air in the lungs, we took our first dog run in nearly a month yesterday - just about 2.5 easy miles up the brook to the pretty little mountain lake near our house. The dogs desperately needed the run - and so did we. Again, we had to stop to catch our breath a few times on the way up the mountain, but things are definitely heading in the right direction. It was pretty cold and the water was bitter, but that didn't stop the dogs from playing in the the little mountain brook that leads up to the lake. Joy: Bliss: It felt REALLY good to be out and walking again, even though this has been a bit of a struggle. We'll try another easy dog run this afternoon.
