Small buck with my old smokepole

Built between the late 1830's and the mid 1840's, William Moore 14 bore (.69 cal) beleted ball gun and a small Whitetail buck

I get such a kick out of you kids calling buck's small. That's a respectable buck by NY standards 👍

That's cool. The people who built the gun probably never dreamed someone would still be killing deer with it 180 years later. Nice job!

That's a respectable deer anywhere, any time.

And anyone who takes a deer in the snow muzzleloader season has earned that deer.
