KCrowley
Capitol Reef National Park is often ignored in favor of it's more famous neighboring parks like Arches and Zion, but it's awfully cool in it's own right.

Lurch
Cool! never heard of it! Titus Canyon in Death Valley NP is a 30 mile on-way "road" that starts near Beatty and ends not far from Scotty's Castle. It's for high ground clearance vehicles only, but looks quite similar, only 2-300 feet deeper in spots!

I can always take the camper off the truck, but it's more fun to try it with it on!

When my kids were young we would make an annual trip to capital reef. Very picturesque and some very fun hikes in the area. And you can avoid the crowds of Zion and arches.
