Guest Posted December 12, 2008 Share Posted December 12, 2008 It isn't over yet. Maybe now, over the week end, the grand standing and BS can be put aside. The sky isn't falling. The mass sell off predicted didn't happen even before there was talk from the administration regarding possible use of TARP funds. I still think Ch 11 is the only reasonable solution. A good BK judge could slap all parties back in line. Is it going to hurt? You bet it will but that is just the way it is. It isn't the tax payer's responsibility or fault. The parties in the industry are the ones who killed the goose that layed the golden egg. This is just one of many shoes to drop, the next looks like the State of California.
